Adriel has become a successful goldsmith and jeweler, having his own shop called "Heart's Desires" for custom jewelry.
He is trying to keep his staff down these days, as he has found himself to be a new father - however no bonded spouse.
While he does have a Lover's heart, he is rather avoidant to romance thanks to some bad luck. ( Expect walls and a slow burn )
Instead he has more his best friend, his Sun, Rett as a more Platonic Husband who helps with the kids. After all, Rett was the one who found them.
Goldsmithing has become Adriel's love and focus, keeping his Black Magic a hidden skeleton in the closet. Of course, even a jeweler can still get into trouble.
HISTORYAdriel's story is no different from the many orphans that survived the Calamity.Like most people, he had lived a modest life with his family, taking on the craft of his Seeker father in jewelry. Practice in magic with his Keeper mother. And...All others, all known friends and family were gone. He remembers looking up. He remembers the raining fire that fell from the sky like a glorious rain of stars. What destruction they brought when everyone was all left to stare in awe and horror. The loss was too much, the miracle of him being alive also brought a feeling of despair. For in death he would have his family. Alive, he has nothing. It was three days after burying them did he set out, wanting to leave everything behind, except for one thing. A memento in turquoise beads made with love and care. His name, he left behind for them.With nothing left in his past life, the world was open completely to him. In this new life, he would drown himself with the pleasures of the world, give himself a new name, wanting to take in all and everything. From the sparkling seas of Limsa Lominsa, the green forests of Gridania, to the glistening gem of the desert Ul'dah he would roam. He, of course, wishes to go further. Continue as a traveler, selling gems for gil and to surround himself in any aspect of a place that would be pleasurable. It was in Ul'dah that he would always find himself coming back, and it was in Ul'dah to where he would find himself immersed in further books of magic. He needed to learn how to defend himself, after all.He shook and trembled, at first, when he handled fire. But, as time would pass, so would he learn more. Adriel would control the forces that took everything from him. With the whispers of texts, of the dark and the void, so came a hushed question from the black..."Do you really have control of what you fear most?"
